cause of the lean exhaust?
ok so I was doing a little cleanup work, (replacing orings) on the injector of my 92 olds 88 royale, and found a small chip broken off of one injectors. the peice is about this size: [---] in actual length
it had snap off the lip that holds onto the oring, most likely some time ago. could this cause the lean exhaust that has be plagueing my car since I bought it? Also does anyone know what a code 65 on my obd means? cuz it's not listed in my haynes manual. |

Re: cause of the lean exhaust?
65 is is cruise control servo position sensor.Any air entering the engine unmetered can cause a lean mixture issue, forces the block learn/trim to try to enrichen the mixture.
