99 Engine Mount replacement

My o2 sensor was hanging down so i crawled under the car, secured it and noticed that the front engine mount is SHOT TO SHIT!!! Anyways, i found one on ebay for $25.

Anyone here replaced the front engine mount before? I'm a pretty advanced mechanic (been working on cars for atleast 12 years) but is there anything i should be aware of before i go ahead and do this?

Re: 99 Engine Mount replacement

its pretty straight forward. When I did mine I just got a big flat piece of wood with a car jack and placed it underneath the oil pan to distribute the load once the old engine mount was out. You just undo the bolt(s), take it off and put in the new one.

Awesome, just as i thought. I have an engine hoist, i might just lift it up a bit to relieve the presssure because my damn brother is using my jackstands to hold something up.
