making mine look different?

i was wondering if anyone knows where to get mesh grille inserts for 06 specv i want to try and start setting mine apart from all the other sentras

awwww dont rice your car out. set it apart by making it faster. oh and rims help too, plus you can get non ricey rims.

i just really dont like the big thing in the middle with the nissan sign i just want the grill to look clean...you know thats all no wing or side skirts and stuff

I don't blame you. I hate the 04+ front end. I love my 03 front end. Go to b15sentra.net and register for their forums. I don't think a mesh grill would be ricey at all, but I def don't think it would set your car apart from the thousands of others who have done it.

i live in a small town and there are lots of 1.8s out there exactly like mine and i just want to make sure they know im a little diff.....

but seriously, just debadge it. i know what you mean about all the 1.8s, as i see soo many of them every day. maybe if nissan was smart, they'd sell the 1.8 sentra still, with the 04-06 body style. i see at least 5 every time i drive my car. it pisses me off, but it would be a smart move for nissan.

to really set your spec different than the 1.8s, grab the nismo front lip, and rear lip painted. i know its a arm and leg to get them, but its crazy nice looking. this gives an idea:

yea i debadged it already but more then looking like a 1.8 i just think the big thing with the nissan symbol in the middle of the grill just doesnt look good. but i do like the lip kits you showed me...

some people have removed the hamburger in the front, and had it paint matched by the local body. lets see if i can dig up that old thread.

this gives an idea of the painted buck tooth.

this is a black canned ebay grille. looks pretty decent, but you need darker blk paint to not see the lines of aluminum holding the grille together.

I had a 1.8 with a massive wing, and a ricer cannon rev it up at me, from across the parking lot one day. I just acted like he didn't exist. The 1.8 ricers give Spec V's a bad name. Don't get me wrong, the 1.8 sentra is a very nice commuter car... but no performance car. My gf was telling her co-workers about my car the other day, when she heard them talking about their cars. A guy with a cavalier said "it's jus a sentra"....... There are a lot of people that don't even know what a Spec V is, still. It's one thing you have to get used to when you own a spec. Now if my gf would have told them that I have an integra or a civic(which I school all the time), they would have probably drooled over my "race car". On the other hand, it's pretty funny to beat the piss out of rice box's that don't even expect you to be quick. Emphasis on quick... the Spec V is not fast. It's built for it's handling... and for that, it's built well.

Anyway, good luck getting people to take your spec seriously.

i kindof know what you mean i used to own a 76 280z that i had running really good and everyone thought it was just a little four banger untill i would leave them when the torque of that inline six would kick in.....but i havent had that with the sentra. but im sure it will happen cuz it has a lot of torque also.
