CEL on and gas blinking

i got a 2000 rodeo and my CEL light is on with the gas guage is blinking. I have it read by autozone and the code comes out to be 401 and 463. Does anybody know what that means? I read in here that when the gas guage is blinking then it needs a new fuel pump. Has anybody in here replace there fuel pump? Does anybody in here knows any shop around the stockton area that will be able to fix this problem. Im in stockton, california. Thank God i was able to pass smog today but i still want to fix it.......any advice will be appreciated.

Re: CEL on and gas blinking

For the gas guage its just the fuel sensor, not the whole pump that needs replaced. Very common on rodeos.

P0401 - EGR Insufficient Flow
Your EGR valve tube (inside the intake plenum) is clogged and needs cleaned.

P0463 - Fuel Level Sensor Circuit A High Input
Goes with the bad fuel gauge level sensor.
