Question LS1 PS Pressure Hose Procedure?

Can the hose be snaked out from top or bottom? Do I need to undo the serpentine belt and/or the PS pump to make room? Thanks much.

Re: LS1 PS Pressure Hose Procedure?

Update: I got it out from the top by rotating as necessary to accomodate the metal tube angles and obstructions. New hose went in same way with tape on ends to keep dirt out.

It was leaking from where the rubber hose is crimped onto the lower metal tube part. Has little 0-rings on both ends. If one or both decide to leak, at least replacement is easy but then there's the time-consuming bleeding procedure. The serpentine belt was cake.

I will be bleeding it and checking for leaks later today.

Alot of GM's seem to have bad o-rings lately.
