Lighter Flywheel

I'm looking at flywheels and i'm wondering if there worth the $280 or so. I realize less rotational mass on the engine the more horse power and the faster the engine wil rev. I also know that you basically lose your free launch.
Is it worth it. Looking at two different flywheels one weighs 11.8 and the other is 7.9 what would be the better...?

Mod list: Dijen intake pipe with k&n
550cc injectors
255lph fuel pump
Evo 3 16g turbo
Manual boost controler
Short throw shifter
cluth
Front and Rear bushings

Re: Lighter Flywheel

Do you have a gst or gsx. I think that would be the best way to decide, if your awd you will want the rotating mass for launch. I would go with the 11.8. You dont want to go to light.
