Re: 1st Gen turbo

From re-reading the question, it looks like they are asking what rpm the turbo spins at. If so, it's possible for the turbine wheel to reach speeds in excess of 100,000rpm.

Re: 1st Gen turbo

Now I'm confused. Can you try and re-phrase your question so we can help you out.

Re: 1st Gen turbo

He's putting the 14b in a honda (B16a motor) and I'm guessing he wanted to know at what rpms it maxed out at. That's my best guess.

Re: 1st Gen turbo

yes it will be fine for the honduh motor. i knew more than a couple of guy's that would use those. the 14b will probably blow your engine, though.

a T-25 [stock 2g turbo] is perfect for those engines.

the 14b honduh guy's i knew always had problems. the T-25 guy's were always running strong...

on different engines turbo's do different things. there is no way to compare a 4g63 [capable of ~400+ HP on internals] to a B16a2 [~250+ hp on stock internals w/all that aluminum ???]. the rev is all different, and isn't that a VTEC engine? not to mention the much different exhaust capabilities. and the 4g63 was designed to be a powerful engine with a turbo strapped on it from the get go...

Re: 1st Gen turbo

Yeah, that shouldnt be a problem. The 4g revs up to 7500rpm
