new rims!

i just got new rims. they are 18 inch. i was just wondering with the different size rim up from a 16 do i need to adjust the timing or anything else special.

Depends what size tires you got with them. If you didn't match the diameter of tyour old setup with the new setup, your speedo will be off and you will need to adjust the PCM for that.
And what does timing have to do with wheels and tires?

he doesnt know, thats why he was asking.

its not necessary to adjust anything except maybe the speed sensor if, like he said, the overall diameter of the wheel and tire is larger or smaller than the original.

even if it is larger/smaller, its still not necessary to adjust, just know that you will be going a little faster than what the speedo says if the wheels are larger, slower if they are smaller.

yeah when i went from 16's to 18's i adjusted the speedo doing a pcm tune...real simple

its a 98, it's a 2 second correction with any type of tuner
