90 crx d16z6 swap won't start help plz

hi guys first post
I bought a 1990 crx si that somone put a d16z6 swap in but never finished wiring. I was told that they have changed the dizzy, the timing belt, and the injectors. I bought the p28 ecu and the odb0 to odb1 conversion harness (somone made it at home ) and I bought the vtec oil pressure plug and wires, and wired it all up. now when I bought the car it had the original ecu and it ran fine just I had to shift at 3,000 rpms because the vtec wouldn't kick in. ok well after I wired everything up and switched ecu's it would start but not run, I checked the spark plugs and the are burnt I am going to change them today but I need some help I have thought of everthing that I know from timing to injectors (if they were not changed and I was lied to) and I am completely stumped. Oh and just to add the only thing I haven't changed yet is it still has the one wire o2 sensor and I still have to get the 4 wire o2 sensor

With the P28, you're also going to have to use an OBD1 distributor.... if it's still wired for the D16A6 distributor and you don't want to cut anything up, the guys at Locash Racing make a distributor adapter plug set so you don't have to do any of the wiring yourself... I don't see it listed by itself right now, but just email them, they are very prompt to return emails and all of their wiring harnesses are top notch!

D16Z6 distributor has two grey rectangular plugs, and the distributor itself (not the the cap... the metal part) is very round....
the D16A6 distributor has two yellowish round plugs, and the distributor is more square.

The Z6 distributor wont work with the PM6, and the A6 distributor wont work with the P28.... I've tried both combos before.
