Window trim restore/replacement
The piece of trim on the exterior of the doors at the bottom of windows on my 98 GS has deteriorated to the point of splitting and exposing the foam core. It's probably due to sunlight and Texas heat.
Is there an aftermarket source for a replacement for this part? I guess the dealer might have them for big $. Anybody had any luck restoring with vinyl paint or such? I put electrical tape over the top to try and slow it down, but that won't last. |

Re: Window trim restore/replacement
Is that the black rubber coated trim piece? Most likely GM dealer only or pull from the local salvage yard.
