Help on deciding which car to get
Hey whats up everyone. I was just looking to get some opinion on which car I should go for next because my SI was stolen last week. I use to have a 98 eclipse rs, before I got the SI. But looking through car ads I have been eyeing eclipses again. I saw a 97 eclipse gs-t 5spd with 118,000 miles for $5,000obo and a 99 GSX Auto for $5,000 (firm) w/77,000 miles. Which one of these two would you favor??? They are both in good condition. Thanks

Re: Help on deciding which car to get
Welcome to AF!
It really depends on what you want to do with the car. If you are going to put some money in it and plan on making a lot of power. Get the gsx, you will need the awd. But you might want to look around for one with a manual tranny. The gst would be good if you just want the car to drive around and have fun and maybe upgrade it a little bit. Any car you get make sure you do a vin check on it and find out as much about the car as possible, like timing belt changes, maintenance, etc.

Re: Help on deciding which car to get
I like the GSX a little better. I know AT sucks but it can be changed
as for the miles are a lot better and its newer too plus 99gsx was the prettiest year of all dsms (in my opinion)

Re: Help on deciding which car to get
I agree with StevieK, although I have a 99 GS-T and not a GS-X, I liked the way the 99 looks vs the 97 (I used to own a 97 as well), but that is pretty cheap for a 99 gs-x...wonder whats wrong with it?

Re: Help on deciding which car to get
That GSX is obviously the better deal, and if it were my choice that's what I would get. Actually if I saw that car in the paper around me RIGHT NOW, I would buy it and sell mine.
