Oil

Hi guys,

What is the best motor oil out there beside M1 for Honda Accord V6 EX. I have been using M1 and want to change from it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Oil

There is no such thing as the best oil. Stick with Mobil 1 you can't go wrong.

Well, here is what some one suggested to me to switch from M1 to Aimsoil. He said M1 is not a true synthetic oil but Aimsoil is and Aimsoil costs a bit more than M1 according to his research that is why I want to hear more from other people opinion. Thanks.

What's about the oil weight, oil cap said 0W30 on it. Is it too thin for the summer use? I never use this 0W30 at all. Is this some thing special in this oil? I am thinking about change it to 5W30 in the summer. I live in Minnesota. Any suggestion on this? Thanks.

Re: Oil

Use what weight is recommended in the manual for the season. Honda's engineers definitely aren't stupid.
