1997 sl2 - a few questions
is the 1.9 dohc engine an interference engine?
the car won't start and you can smell burning oil timing chain is fine there is some spark not much. gas guage is reading empty. so what is the reasoning behind this?

It is an interference engine.. timing chain breaks and its over... it won't start and the gas gauge says empty.." put some gas in it ?"
Guess more information on year and mileage would help with other symptoms... guess I've smelled unburned fuel but burning oil ??? Fuel.. Spark... by the way.. what do those spark plugs look like?
