1999 WS 3.8L white smoke
White smoke started pouring out of my tail pipe. I replaced my intake manifold gasket (felpro 3mm). It ran great for about 45 minutes. Then it died. Towed it home and started it up again. It ran for about 7-10 seconds and then died again. It keeps on doing this. I checked everything I disconnected, and it seems I did not forget anything. I do not believe I overtorqued the intake manifold bolts. I checked the fuses under the hood nest to the battery and the are all good. I do not know where to go next since I'm not very experienced at diagnosing.

Re: 1999 WS 3.8L white smoke
Installed new PCV valve. I did not mention this before, but when I press the accelerator, the engine dies.

Re: 1999 WS 3.8L white smoke
One of those freak things. The replcement of the IMGs got rid of my white smoke issue, but apparently the fuel pump went bad the next day. Then I replaced the fuel pump and it has been running fine ever since. Wierd, but I guess having two things fail like that happens every now and then.
