Torx Bolt Removal

Hi, I have a '01 K2500 HD Silverado that is in need of brake pad replacement. The problem that I'm seeing is that the top torx bolt on the rear calipers is about 3" away from the leaf springs. This is limiting me from using a torx socket with a ratchet, but I'm also wondering how much clearance I'll have once the bolt starts backing out towards the leaf springs. I'm looking for a T-60 that is shaped like an allen wrench. I've looked on line but cannot find anything like this. I need your advice on this one.........How do you other K2500 HD owners get your rear calipers off to change pads???

I have replaced the rear pads by only removing the bottom bolt, compressing the pistons into the caliper and them pivoting the caliper up on the top bolt. I checked the service manual and it tells you to remove the hydraulic brake line, but I have been able to do it with out doing that. I believe you can then slide the caliper out of the bracket and put some new grease on the bolts. After manuvering the caliper it should come out. Hope this helps.
