Nooooo!

pfyc.com stopped selling 62mm TB's for 3.4 V6's Oh well, I'll just go have the one guy in town bore mine out to 65mm, muahahaha! 33% of the price too!

It looks like they are dropping a lot of their 3.4L V6 line... no longer can you buy the lightweight pulleys (which I was considering buying too)... garrr! Know any place where you can get all these parts that are disappearing?

yea, I think fastfwd is prob ur best bet, since they're only 'out of stock' but dont have a set date of when new ones will come out .. and z-spec I havent checked in a while

another reason for a new car, everything is custom for the GA lol, fun project tho

my speedbuilt strut bars are now in UTAH after a month of shipping delays.. thanks pfyc.com.. should be here wednesday or thurs and installed this weekend lol

na, you dont even need one...

there are those grantenelli or w/e ones even with cold air tuning (more fuel usage) but I dont know the sizes, never got around I think to e-mailing them on what the size is.. but either way you should be fine with the stock MAF size... you can get ur guy to smooth it out a little bit locally maybe as long as the sensors arent touched at all

think XI was trying to bore his out but dunno how that went

ill try and do a diagram of how the RSM TB sorta works in terms of 'bigger' .. nice design...

Are they chromed or just polished?
You can polish the aluminum pretty good then put on something to protect the shine.

I used to have a pro M MAF that was 63mm, it sucked !
Used to much fuel and the metering was inacurate

I am going to cut the center out of a stock MAF so its a little less restrictive. I'll post a pic later, on what I'm taking about.

Re: Nooooo!

Well if PFYC has them for an Alero then they'd hav them for the GA also.
Which thier site says "in stock" for the 2.4L GA & Alero TB's.

Re: Nooooo!

The GA and alero are one in the same cars. same engine and a bunch of other things. Like H2 hummer and a chevy envoy(sp). Both are the same engines. What is the issue?

No big deal!

We all know they are the same.....

Just PFYC does not carry the TB's for the 3.4L becuase they are probly discontinuing GA & Alero parts.
The person asking about these TB's has the 3.4L not the 2.4L which pfyc still has TB for.

Re: Nooooo!

A hummer H2 and a GMC envoy (not chevy) are not the same thing. A trailblazer and an envoy are the same thing...just FYI
