I think its the lower one i need...which i dont know if the lower one means there is 2 or the lower one is the only one...I cant remember.....Well maybe you guys can tell me....Whenever i drive i can hear the tire shaking and whenever you get under my car and grab it, it shakes...which i know it shouldnt do that....So maybe you guys know which one it is...Thanks alot!

Re: Tie Rod End

I think you need new outer tie rods. If you can grab it and it shakes at the joint where it connects to the knuckle then you need a new one. By now your outer tie rod boot is probably gone.

Now might be a good time to also change your rack end bushing, an extremely common problem on our cars:

You can diagnose it by openning your passenger side accordian boot and shaking the inner tie rod by hand. If theres free play, you need a new rack end bushing.

I would definitely get it from the dealer, costs like 8 bucks and its something you only want to have to replace once since you need to drop the rack.
