Wink I need some help ASAP

I have a 2000 Isuzu Rodeo LS. My winter button is lit up and won't go off. The suv is driving funny. By it being lit up that means it's on right? Is driving it in normal weather with it on going to hurt my vehicle? And any ideas on how I can get it to go off?

Re: I need some help ASAP

Yep, it's on - it should automatically shut off after reaching 25mph or shutting off the vehicle. It won't hurt the truck, just makes it start off in 3rd gear, which feels weird.

Wonder if there's something sticky in/around the button and/or an electrical gremlin within the system.

Re: I need some help ASAP

pull the button out and unplug it.

then you can see it the button is functioning properly. If not, order a new button.
