93 Sable Starter Relay, Neutral Safety Switch and Starter Fuse location
My 93 Sable does not start, but the starter is good, when I directly apply the voltage to the starter, it cranks. I need to check the electrical circuit from batter-starter fuse-ignition switch-starter relay-Neutral Safety Switch. If somene can tell me where are these parts.
I located normal fuse panel, it is on the driver side under the instrument console. In the 93 Sable owner manual, it says the high currebt fuse panel chart, I cannot local this high currebt fuse panel. As my inderstood, only one fuse panel in the car. Any information will be great help. |

Re: 93 Sable Starter Relay, Neutral Safety Switch and Starter Fuse location
Though I haven yet looked at a wiring diagram for your perticular Sable the fuse that I belive you are looking for is a fuseable link and they rarly go bad the starter relay should be tested after checking the battery and possibly one or more of the battery cables may be bad so to test them you will need a digatal multimeter for checking voltages

Re: 93 Sable Starter Relay, Neutral Safety Switch and Starter Fuse location
There is a distribution box in the driver side under the hood. One of the 60 A fuse was blown out.

Re: 93 Sable Starter Relay, Neutral Safety Switch and Starter Fuse location
I think the reason for 60 A fuse blown out is by the ignition switch short ciucuit under the Ignition switch cylind key lock. Does someone know how to replace it?
