how do take off the center piece???

i wuz wondering how do u take off the center piece of the taillight????

it's some nuts on the back side. then in the middle is a clip. pull it straight out. the clip shouldn't break but if it does it can be replaced.

My little clip broke the plactic so I used velcro there. It also stopped the vibration it was making cause of my 10s.

bump ... so there is a clip behind the damn thing ... I was wondering why I couldnt get the center tail out. Did a search and found this post ... now I dont gotta make a new thread.

I pulled so hard on mine that I put two little dents on either side of the rear emblem....shit i still didn't get it off!

Yup, Tails are already done ... hopefully the center piece will be dry when I get back from mountain biking, put a coat on it this morning

Hey, i'm not new- but just been gone along time and forgot name and passwords and all that.. anyways-
sry - i'd help with the center peice tail light situation, but i forgot everything bout how its bolted in , snapped in place , etc - - cuz im' currently workin on a project. gettin some PRELUDE ALTEZZA's molded in. Code named , " Mold In Prelude Tail Lights "
i got some pix but my cam i got is a peice, so jus squint or somin -
and i'll try to keep u updated on new thread.

on the 90/91 sedan there's not only the 5/16 bolts but also theres'a few phillips head screws around the reverse lights...

Of course after I pulled all bolts off AND the screws out I pulled mine straight out and SNAP.... right in half...

Just one word of advice, be careful
