keyless entry
Is there a way to confirm the doors locking when using the keyless entry remote? I know some cars will flash the headlights to confirm. I have a 1994 Bonneville.

Re: keyless entry
Look in your owners manual. Assuming the keyless entry is OEM and not aftermarket, there is a way to change how it reacts to the keyless entry.

Re: keyless entry
I also have a '94 and nothing happens when i lock/unlock the doors like lights flashing or anything like some cars. I dont think anything happens but if you find out it does let me know.

Re: keyless entry
92-95 will not flash the lights or give the momentary toot from the horn... 96+ Bonnevilles will do this as GM went to the newer system Called the MALL Module..
On the 92-95 the system was Retained Accessory Control or RAC Module.... If you had the Remote Entry the system was the Remote Acessory Control... The only thing you should have happen is the interior lights turn on for 20 seconds when you depress any button.. |
