dvd player question

hi in a month or so i plan on up grading my headunit to a flip screen one. and i found that that i like and i am wondering is it any different from installing a regular head unit. the dvd player i am going to be using in pioneer AVH-P7600DVD.

everything should be the same except it may have an extra input or two for video sources

yeah i just got one too , it does wire up just like a stereo but there is another set of wires for like ipod , xm ,reverse camera and stuff, also u need to wire it so it dosent play while driving unless you know how to rig it,, in my case i needed to splice it into the e-brake light switch to let it know i was parked for it to play dvds ..but instead i wired it to a different power source that came on with key like the amp turn on wire or the power antenna so it works while driving!

PS3 knows how easy it is to set up to watch DVDs when parked, he'll do it if he wants too.

Please post progress on installation and how it goes after, i too plan on purchasing a pioneer DVD screen soon.

it's in a month or so . and you don't really need to rige it there are mutiple ways of bypassing that feature.
