I'm trying to see why my check engine light is on. Can I buy one of those scanners to see whats going on.
Has anyon else had success with these? |

Re: Are Aurora's OBII Compliant
95 is neither OBD1 nor OBD2.
It uses obd1'ish protocol and have OBD2 socket. You CANNOT read it with any usual scantool. Options are : Tech1 or Tech2 (full functions available), Snap-On MT2500 (domestic 95+ cartridge+key9+ obd2 adapter needed), Actron 9175 (with proper 95GM cable included) and possibly AutoXray EZscan series scanners. Tech1/2 is a best soluiton here - will be able to read not just PCM dtc's, but ABS as well. From 96 on rora's are OBD2. |
