Bought Somthing for the Sixer

It's a non-intercooled V-1, I'm planning on running 11 PSI.

Heres a pic if anyone wants to see the kit.

Re: Bought Somthing for the Sixer

nice! it will be cool to see what kind of numbers you get with it. doing a turbo install is always fun.

you might be able to find a intercooler that doesnt cost too much, itll help keep the engine living longer. not to mention making more power.

Yeah, I'm thinking it should make around 330-350rwhp(I'm getting rid of the juice). And I'm getting water/meth injection so I don't need an IC.

yeah its probably good your getting rid of the juice, i dont think the engine could handle that and 11 psi. you have stock internals right?

It would be fine with race gas and a small(50 or 75) shot. I still have stock internals, I was going to run nitrous but I can get the cooling effect from the alcohol and I quit my job to study for my finals and I still have to buy my TC, fuel pump, water/meth kit, dyno tune, ect.

You could always run a window with N2O, say 3k-4k for spooling the SC.

If I ran juice I would spray all the way through.

But then your engine would be scattered all over the place

Considering what I've seen other people with stock internals run unless I sprayed it everyday it's doubtful.

When did I say a 100 shot? I said a 50 or 75 shot with race gas. And I never said I would rev it to 7k, maybe 6k at the most in first.

Re: Bought Somthing for the Sixer

You're not going to get anymore performance out of that V6!!! It can't handle it!!!

JUST KIDDING!!!

350-375 sounds great!! Hope it all goes well! Is that a S/C or Turbo? I don't think you said which one. What size injectors do you have to run know? How many miles are on the engine? You'll have to let us know how easy it is to install and how you do at the track! Good luck!!

It's a Vortech, so obviously a blower, I'll need either 39# or 42# injectors and the kit came with 39's. Right now my engine has 52k miles but the past 15k miles or so have been pretty rough. The centri's are easy installs, and I'm shooting for mid to high 12's. I should have dyno numbers and track times by July-August.

Re: Bought Somthing for the Sixer

Ya, but a wuss would only shoot a 50 shot all the way through I thought you were talking like you had balls j/k

You're right, 75 would be my limit.
