Angry trany problems

i have a 1996 dodge stratus the trany went out so i bought another one now this one will not move when i put the car in gear i checked the fluid to make sure it was full and it was but there is no fluid coming through the lines any suggestions

Was it a known good tranny? if so did you use orginal torque convertor of old tranny?maybe its bad. what about dropping pan before installation ? filter replaced or not put in right? just thinking on possible's

i was told the trany only had 30,000 miles and was good the fluid looked and smelled just fine i changed the filter and used the converter that came with the trany i really can't tell you any more than that

Well.. can only be a few things, either they lied and tranny is shot, something isnt connected or isnt connectd right, or you did something with the filter installation that isnt right. Not much else a person can say or see over the internet.
you did remember the flywheel to convertor bolts right? Dont get mad at that question, once wlaked in my cousins garage as he was finishing a tranny installation on a Olds Toranado, asked him what the extra convertor laying on the bench was for..only suposed to go into the tranny he just put in. He was a little to say the least.
