Short period music class project.

Afew weeks ago, in music class, we we're divided into small groups to compose and record a song of any genre, with a deadline April 23rd.
My group consists of me, a guy who does know jack shit about music, and another who's even worse.

Anyway, so here's what we've come up with so far, sry for the simplicity, but what they hell, it's original. Genre? I dunno, some kind of metal ofcourse, what exactly, I dunno. Oppinions?

Also, sry for the quality.

File:
Dras Has

If you have any tips or suggestions that I can use without changing too much (only 2 days to go), than please tell me.

Re: Short period music class project.

That was pretty good. The beginning reminded me of James Bond. Then I guess about the 1.5-2 minute mark reminded of a Weezer song, I'm thinking 'Say It Ain't So'.

I really really liked the part at the 3:30ish mark where it got more mellow.

Cool man, that was pretty good. How did you record it?

Tips: maybe a malmsteen style solo somewhere in the middle. lol, j/k.

Re: Short period music class project.

Thanks for the input guys, although it wasn't much.

We presented the song today, and the response was decent. I believe our music teacher liked it enough for a good grade on it at least.

Glad it went well.

Sorry for the lack of input, I guess I didn't read you were looking for suggestions. I don't think I would have been much help anyway though.
