Trans code 58

93 Suburban with 454. Pulled a couple codes. One being the coolant temp sensor which was replaced. The other one is a code 58 "Trans temp Sensor Low". Just wondering what to do about fixing the trans problem. Thanks in advance.

Re: Trans code 58

Depending on which transmission it is circuit or sensor bad.
To test you have to watch the transmission temp sensor readings on a scanner.
See if it is reading right at all temptures cold and hot and or dropping out or shorted out.
Could be bad wiring or sensor.
If a 4L80 transmission check the transmission wiring plug in for fluid in it.
