First of all, find out and post the VIN for this car. An original Hemi Car will have the proper engine code in the VIN. Next, make sure that the last seven figures of the VIN is stamped on the engine block and transmission case and that all occurrances of these numbers match. President Reagan said it best, "Trust but verify".
