I bought my 1999 Alero in 2000. It has been so good to me. It is in upwards of 150,000 miles now. It is still pretty and have had no problems with the exception of the windows falling off track and the low tire pressure light. But I counted my chickens before they hatched. When I start her up she makes this loud screeching sound like a belt, but when I press on the gas it almost sounds exhaust related. My husband thinks it is an "exhaust flange"? Beats me. Any of this sound familiar????
