Steering Gear...
About 2 months ago...I got stuck 4 wheeling in the snow...It was quite bad, laying on the frame....during that time, when I was trying to get the truck out of the snowbank.....I lost all steering. The wheel couldn't go right nor left.....I knew it was the steering pump....so I changed it...The shaft was broken. When I finished installing it, I tried to turn the steering wheel lock to lock to get rid of the air in the system....And it would only go to a certain point, but not all the way...I left it at that....when I drive it is ok, but when you move really slow, or completely stopped...It will only go to a certain point, but not a complete full turn. Did I screw up my steering gear or something esle...? I hope this makes sense....sorry for the long post.....
