i have a precision 50 trim turbo

i have a problem...so ill go into a little more detail. i was about a 1/4 from my house and i noticed the oil pressure guage slowly going down so i slowly limped it back to my house and go it there and it was still running ok. i shut it off, popped the hood and saw that i must not have secured the oil return line from my precision 50 trim turbo and so i put it on and let it sit for a little while. then i put oil in the car and tried to start it, and it would turn over but wouldnt start up for me. does anyone know what could have happened? if so i would appreciate some help... the turbo still spins freely so its not that.. i just dont know what it could be

Re: i have a precision 50 trim turbo

How much oil did you have to add? It sounds like you might have another problem. Check and make sure you are getting fuel and spark. Maybe try disconnecting the battery to reset the computer.

Re: i have a precision 50 trim turbo

ok, ill try that i had to add about a quart...i just dont see how that could have caused it not to run any more... also i have a evo 4g63.. that wont direct bolt will it... i think i have to strip it down to the long block and then add the acc. from the eclipse...

Re: i have a precision 50 trim turbo

only a quart low will not hurt anything. Like I said I think your problem is elsewhere. Do a compression check to double check the motor and make sure its fine.

Re: i have a precision 50 trim turbo

Is it getting fuel? ECU go bad? Boost leak? Got spark?

Re: i have a precision 50 trim turbo

Sounds like it to me, but I'd pull off the oil pan and check out the bearings if I was you, but I'm betting it's blown.

Isn't the Evo 3 layed out the same way as the 420a? I think it is. Your best bet would be to find a complete shortblock. You should also post up the information of your car in your sig. Year, make, model, tranny, mods, etc., so we know what you're running.

Re: i have a precision 50 trim turbo

Yeah I was wrong, it was the 8 & 9s that were like the 420a.
