well good luck finidng one those are rare cars out of about the 10 tubos ive seen in my life ive seenonly one manual and unfortunately not for sale autos are somewhat common on the west coast but i dont think are on the east for some reason a 5mt conversion can be done for around 5k apparently if you think it would be worth it. There's a write up about it on www.legacycentral.org if you're interested its also the only site with info about the leg turbo i have ever found and is a pretty good site at that

Re: WTB: 91-93 Legacy Turbo

I've got one, (a 93 legacy sedan turbo) but it's pretty beat up (previous owner crashed, damaged hood/fender/door... some of it is fixed, but it dosen't look great) And I'll be willing to sell it probably by this summer... I'll let you know.

They're pretty rare, I don't know what the market value of it is though because of the damage... I'd guess about 1800-2000 dollars.

All I can say is good luck. Body kits/performance parts are hard to come by for the earlier legacys/legacy turbos

Why do you want a bigger turbo? Stock is pretty good in my opinion.

Re: Re: my legacy turbo

i want a bigger turbo so i can get more horses, im addicted to power, i stretch every motor i get in every car to the limit.Ill also get an intercooler, bov, and boost controller. Ive found two places for bodykits, havent found the strut tower bar. Im still lookin. i bought a b&m pistol grip shift knob and it wont fit , me so sad, im going to get a heli coil put into it. Tell me if anyone finds any more performance parts for the turbo.thanks

I've got one. A 93 legacy sedan with an ej22t. Its a 4 speed auto with manual option, sunroof, wing, integrated phone, and is in great shape. I just got it and wasn't sure if I want to sell it yet but make me an offer. I live by pittsburgh so it isn't that far for you to go. Its got 150k but was maintained by the dealer. The motor purrs. Its a special edition silver and the car listed for 23k back in 93. E-mail an offer at [email protected] I can get you pics if you need.

---I would take the crx on trade depending on how it looks and runs. If you are interested e-mail me and we can swap pics of the cars. ej22t is a 2.2L Turbo

1992 legacy turbo

the first thing i want for my legacy is a loud blow off valve so that everyone knows that i have a turbo and that they shouldnt mess with me. i would really appreciate it if someone would tell me if there is a direct bolt on bov without much modification. i am looking to spend up to $150 on the bov. i would also like to know if there is an existing stock bov on my sube that could be disconnected to be replaced with a loud one. someone please help me, i know bovs can go on my legacy but i dont know where it would go, and it doesnt have an intercooler. thanks

Why you limiting yourself to 91-93? Whats wrong with a 94? You do realize the 91 has a different body style and different tail lights.

Check the for sale forum on http://bbs.legacycentral.org and you will usually find a couple in good condition for sale. 5 speeds are rare but it would probably be cheaper to get an auto and convert it.
