ooh, i would take your extra bolts, but one of my new toys (metric tap and die set) has gone to good use for repairing stripped bolts and bolt holes.

Re: New Toys

ya, i feel like a chick in a mall when i go into sears...in the tool department, that is. i always salivate over those huge tool boxes with ball bearing sliders and lifter tray locks. and then there's the special tool aisle with all the gauges, testers, pullers, and other cool shit. gosh, a lightweight racing low profile jack.

but somehow i always end up talking myself out of that stuff. either b/c i don't have enough money and/or i'd rather spend the money i do have on car parts.

but dammit, last night when i was installing my new long tube headers, i really needed my 14mm ratchet wrench (Gearwrench!!) that i left at a friend's house. so i had to use an open end 14mm wrench which took forEVER. but i only have the straight Gearwrench ratchet wrenches. i need the ratchet wrenches that have the offset head. and i saw that they have a newly designed ratchet wrench in which one end is twisted 90 degrees in relation to the other end, so it allows you to get a better grip (grab the wide face instead of the narrow side) and apply more torque with less strain on your hands.

Gearwrench X-beam
