little help guys??
ok i'm pretty new to all this kinda stuff with the amps and all, i know how to hook everything up like head unit, amps, subs, speakers etc... but i have seen a few times people saying something about bridging there subs, what does this mean? i know its probably a stupid question

you can't bridge a sub. you can bridge a 2 or 4 channel amp though. it combines the power of 2 channels into one for more power.

there is one more concept of that called strapping where you use mutiple amps to run 1 voice coil.

that really isn't called bridging you just use a jumper to wire to get a series or a series parall circuit

different amps use different ways to be bridged.
