ses codes

97 blazer 4+4
ses light comes on and in drive transmission slips if manually shift no problem
i can shut it off after couple hours will drive with no problems but ses light stays on. i can reset computer to clear codes and runs fine for a while maybe few weeks then same problem codes that they found were p0740 and p1860 any ideas?

Codes are pointing to TCC PWM solenoid or wiring or fuse power to it problem.
Check all wiring and fuses and power feeds.
If the transmission is slipping bad your may have more problems.
What is transmission service and mileage and repair history?

45,ooo miles and serviced regulary last tranny sercice was about a year ago.
it really is not slipping that bad

And remember 97 was a bad year for ign switch problems.
If you are losing 12 volt power to TCC solenoid it will at up and set them codes.
