i would probably go for the alpine speakers, as they are a very reliable brand and they last a bit longer than the other brands but also hav the best sound quality in my opinion, ive always used alpine speakers, and either pioneer or clarion subs

Re: which of these...
I would say Alpine, but i've always heard bad stories about their speakers. Eclipse is always good though.

Re: which of these...
ok i thanks. when i went to go look at the prices cause i was going to use 2 xa2000 one for the front and one for the back but then i remembered that alpine has that new pdx-4100 and that is going 300 and does 100 rms x 4. ok so i think i will go with the eclipse in the front now for rear fill would any old thing do?

Re: which of these...
it really depends on how much u care about ur sound quality, if ur short on cash then something old should be fine for a while but i would upgrade the rear speakers aswell, they are cheaper than buying fronts and subs for sure rear speakers wont cost nearly as much

Re: which of these...
Kaos alot of sq cars dont have rear speakers, it messes with sound imaging. As for speakers either the eclipse or try rainbow components on ebay. ALso look at mb quart. Thats is going to be the focal point of your sound, other than subs so i would spare no expense. Of course im not saying soend 1k on a set of comps.
By the way foacl, cdt, and some mcintoch comps come up on ebay sometimes and they can be had for way below retail.

Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota. Cardomain |
