headlights!

Suggestions on brighter headlights? I used to have blue headlights but they weren't bright enough, and my dad decided to throw them away (this was back before I was even out of high school lol). I kind of want some of those high-intensity ones or whatever they are. Know what I'm talking about? Where can I get them?

Re: headlights!

Hi Vipey the HID light are out there, I see them on Ebay all the time. Though I will warn you they do get hot and can melt the headlamp housing. Also the kits car be tricky to install.
Might try Sylvania Silver stars or thier newest super SS.
They run about $20 each, sometimes you can find a pair for $35 or lesss at the Zone or Advance.

I think its a monopoly between GM and Sylvania,
because I've not seen any other bulb manufacturers.

Re: headlights!

I'd stick with legal in IN, they can be diks about stuff like this.
I dont know for certain but I'd sure hate to spend $250+ and have to take them off while I pay for a ticket.

I know thier are legal ones out, just have to dig around the net.

Re: headlights!

First post on this forum

I discovering this link when I was going through another car forum (vwvortex) and it's actually incredibly informative about all headlights. He actually points out why your blue headlights seemed to not be bright enough

Hope it helps somewhat.
