I have all paper work on this car from when LA county ordered this done. This is a DOCUMENTED Bates car, which is pretty damn rare.

So after the complete, and I mean complete rebuild, the car has exactly 70,000 miles, odo reads 172,000 miles on it.

A few things I did to the car:
Installation of Air filter (gained like, 700 horse power!!!!)
Dual exhaust, 2.5 inch with Flowmaster Series 40 mufflers

The only bad part is, the transmission is starting to act a little goofy. When you cruise it, the trans shifts fine, but at WOT the car doesnt want to shift into the next gear, you have to let off then get back on it. I do not know what is going on with that. This is my fault because I never figured the transmission needed to be serviced, I had the engine and diff serviced ALOT, but never dawned on me to do the transmission, so it's my fault, even when I got the car the guy said I should look at it, worked perfect then. The car is fast, with the trans working like it should, it did run a 14.57 in the 1/4 mile, at 93 MPH. This is a highway car, it can hit 150 MPH with no problem. Talk about a sleeper huh? The suspension is good, the only thing that wasnt replaced, were the control arm bushings, and now they make a a little noise now and then, not a big problem.

Interior is complete and pretty clean. The Exterior could use a $400 paint job and 2 small dents, one on rear trunk lid and the other rear quarter pulled, dents are not noticeable unless you look hard on the 1/4 lower.

I'm asking $1,500 - $2,000 cash for this car. I know I'm selling it cheap, seeing as how one went on Ebay with paper work from the same place I got mine, with more miles, and in need of some body work, more then mine, sold for $6,700. It is now being turned into a SDPD unmarked car once more.

It's a good car, fast, fun, and relaible.
