94 Cop Car. over 13K invested. Sell for $1,500-2,000. See pics and videos inside now!
I'm selling my 1994 Chevy Caprice. This ia 9C1, ex-police car for Los Angeles County.
I have all papers on this car, this is a George Bates car. The car was completely rebuilt in 2001, at 102,000 miles. This list is the following that was replaced, new. Only a few parts if any, where rebuilt. GM Crate LT-1 Engine, 350. 280hp/330 torque 4 speed automatic Transmission Differential and driveshaft U joints Coolant reservoir Washer bottle Washer cap rear spring rubbers Center air deflector left air deflector right air deflector front bumper rear bumper hood insulator hood clips oil sending switch oil level switch collant sensor engine eals flange gaskets exhaust manifold gaskets EGR ro pipe gasket EGR gasket injection O-Ring kit Front Calipwer and rear hadware kits High pressure steering hose Complete intermediate shaf Steering wheel steering Column tilt and knuckle Low lockout Differential cas ABS sensor ring rear end vent battery heater hose Tee Heater restrictor valve Heater core blower motor AC low pressure switch AC hose assembly shrader valve orifice tube Oil Filler neck 02 sensors Right fender extension Left fender extension radiator baffles Map sensor seal upper shift lever bushing upper shift lever bushing sleeve lower shift / tail light trim rings intersection lights tail light trim rings grill rear seat belts light bar push bar push bar pads bypass hose crank case vent hose shift lever spring flywheel left catalytic converter right catalytic converter IAC motor Repair core support steering column Front rotors Rear window regulator paint / body cut and buff lower inside door seals trim moldings spotlight rubbers All doors / weather stripping upholster front seats, reinforce door panels install floor mat and door rubbers left and right seatbelts Dye dash Ball joints Contorl Arms Springs Drag Link Shocks front wheel bearings Idler arms Master Cylinder Power booster Calipers Lines/ hoses Pads/ lining Parking brake Anti Lock system Trans Mount Trans Seals Trans Driveshaft U Joints Coller Lines Linkage Diff Bearings Diff gears Diff Axles Diff studs New Camp New cables / connections New starter Plug wires Distributor Spark Plugs Air Filter Intake hoses gaskets Fuel Filter Hoses Injectors Radiator Cooling fans Wipers Wiper motor Fan motors Fan switch Defroster AC Condenser AC Evaporator AC Hose/Lines Refrigerant Charge Interior lights Turn singnals and flashers Head lights Tail lights Horn Exhaust pipes Mufflers gaskets Hangers and clamps Seats Door Windshield Rear windows Front side windows Mirrors Door panels AC vents Total of.... $13,576.40 I have all paper work on this car from when LA county ordered this done. This is a DOCUMENTED Bates car, which is pretty damn rare. So after the complete, and I mean complete rebuild, the car has exactly 70,000 miles, odo reads 172,000 miles on it. A few things I did to the car: Installation of Air filter (gained like, 700 horse power!!!!) Dual exhaust, 2.5 inch with Flowmaster Series 40 mufflers The only bad part is, the transmission is starting to act a little goofy. When you cruise it, the trans shifts fine, but at WOT the car doesnt want to shift into the next gear, you have to let off then get back on it. I do not know what is going on with that. This is my fault because I never figured the transmission needed to be serviced, I had the engine and diff serviced ALOT, but never dawned on me to do the transmission, so it's my fault, even when I got the car the guy said I should look at it, worked perfect then. The car is fast, with the trans working like it should, it did run a 14.57 in the 1/4 mile, at 93 MPH. This is a highway car, it can hit 150 MPH with no problem. Talk about a sleeper huh? The suspension is good, the only thing that wasnt replaced, were the control arm bushings, and now they make a a little noise now and then, not a big problem. Interior is complete and pretty clean. The Exterior could use a $400 paint job and 2 small dents, one on rear trunk lid and the other rear quarter pulled, dents are not noticeable unless you look hard on the 1/4 lower. I'm asking $1,500 - $2,000 cash for this car. I know I'm selling it cheap, seeing as how one went on Ebay with paper work from the same place I got mine, with more miles, and in need of some body work, more then mine, sold for $6,700. It is now being turned into a SDPD unmarked car once more. It's a good car, fast, fun, and relaible. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
