2000 Century, dash back light out?

Hi all, the LED display that shows you your mileage and what gear you’re in is not lighting up. Now the rest of the dash lights, speedo/gas gauge, are fine. At first it would get dim but then come back up to full light, then it was always dim and now is out for good. Any ideas?

Tyson

In most cases where you lose the odometer LED display and PRND321 indicator it is an internal problem related to the Instrument Panel (IP) cluster.

Re: 2000 Century, dash back light out?

Be sure to take note of the differences bewteen a Regal GS IP Cluster and that of your Century. They are not the same. All '97 - '04 Regal GS have a DIC - driver information center (trip computer) so not all mods as shown will be applicable.

Good luck.

Welcome to AF.

From what I understand he applied the fix which was for a Regal IP Cluster and subsequently posted he had ongoing problems. Do a search of our old posts on IP Cluster, odometer issues or make a new post addressing your issue. This thread has been closed due to the age, over 3 months since last reply.
