Re: shuts off no warning

Sounds like you might have a bad ignition switch or ignition harness. Try giggling the switch when it shuts off, and see if that makes any difference.

I would also pull the fuses for the ECM (should be 2) and make sure they look good, check the spades of the fuses for corrosion.

Re: shuts off no warning

After that ignition stuff is checked, let me ask if this only happens at idle? If so and it gives a little shake/stumble right before I'd look at the idle air control (IAC) on the throttle body (need to pull throttle body off to replace and clean the ports/butterfly. If more random I'd test the fuel pressure and rule that out, cap/rotor new and not cheap aftermarket ones, and then my favorite no code thrower is the crank sensor or loose connector going intermittant (again get a Delco or Standard).
Hey welcome to the forum and lots of Blazer problems and fixes are listed just remember that even GM has to step thru many possible parts/sensors to find intermittant failures. Always buy Delco or I have no problems with Standard motor products parts but some of those discount ones are trash and will keep biting you.

Also check the power cables running from the battery to the electrical in the truck. I had a jeep that had corroded wires and the only way to get the truck going was to move them around on the battery terminal. Of course once I replaced everything which was the correct way of doing things it all worked out fine.
