Just got the car back with some new shoes!

Well, after the car being in the shop for almost two damn months I have her back and I couldn't be happier because she has a new set of shoes. They are 5Zigen FNO1R-Cs 17" x 9" 35mm offset. I'll need to get new tires before winter and right now it has 245/45s on it. What do you guys think the ideal size would be for a 9" wide wheel? I was thinking 255/40s? Anyhow; here are some crappy pics I took today, I'll get some better ones this weekend. Also, looks like I need to polish those calipers.

On a side note: Anyone need some stock, white, TT wheels or center caps?

Good looking rims, and they're damn light as well.

Ah you beat me too them. Very nice, I'm jealous. I plan on going with the black ones in a couple months. Where did you find the best price?

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

Re: Just got the car back with some new shoes!

I would have liked the gloss black or the hyper black over this finish but I couldn't wait and everywhere had them back ordered. I bought mine from Discount for about $200 per wheel plus $40 for shipping and a little extra for lugnuts. However, the gloss black are more expensive. You can get a better deal from IPS Jeff over on 3Si. He quoted me under $800 shipped for my wheels but I couldn't wait since I was under time constraints.

Thanks for all the compliments guys!

I will take some pictures tomorrow. One of the wheels is bent and I don't think it can be repaired thus the new wheels. The other three, despite a little curb rash are in good shape.

I was expecting the mechanics to leave his shoes in the car....

What a letdown
