Re: Posi???

Put a V-8 in it!!!

I would go with bigger injectors and fuel pump, as well as reprogramming the computer.

I have not played with 6's too much, see what kind of cam you can get for it. That seems to do the trick!

Re: Posi???

eBay is your best best on getting a good deal on a posi unit. Try to find a Zexel-Torsen, they're the best bang for the buck.

Aside from that. The best mods you can start off with doing is an SLP cold air intake (my personal preference), headers, and a new cat-back. That Flowmaster is only hindering you, I'd recommend Magnaflow. You can pull the A/C and replace it with the A/C delete pulley, but you would be better off just getting a set of underdrive pulley's.

A good website with tons of 3.4L performance parts:
www.ftpp.net

I'm so sick of hearing that. He asked what he could do to his current engine.. not what engine he should put in.

Yes an answer that wasn't relevant to his question. I knew you were joking just as much as he did.. but when someone who has a V6 asks the best way to modify it, and the first response you give them is "Get a V8"... That's when you're not helping them any. If you don't have any good advice to give them that's relevant to their question, then you shouldn't be responding at all.

Re: Posi???

talk to forum member, FormulaLT1.... he has rear end parts. I think it actually sells them on a regular basis. I actually just bought a Zexel-torsen from him, 3.73s, and a 3" aluminum driveshaft.

...a reasonable guy, and makes sure everything is as-described.

Unless you want to take a vacation.. I'd suggest settling down and start treating people with respect.

That he did.. But as a V6 owner.. I know first hand the frustration of having people constantly tell you that your car is slow and that you need to get a V8 instead. And it gets old, quick. I'm sure you know exactly what I'm talking about given that you used to have a 2.8 in your Camaro. I just think it's immature, and disrespectful.

Yea, I understand completely. I was never told that in real life, but I have heard "put a v8 in it" way too much on the forums when other people are talking. It was funny for a minute, but it is old.

Correction: I had a 3.1, not a 2.8.... I wasnt that slow lol haha.
