1994 taurus HELP!!
Hello,
I own a 94 Taurus, 3.0L engine. I have been trying to remove the front right quarter panel to remove a dent by pounding it out from the back side. However, I cannot remove the bolt that secures the right passenger door to the front quarter panel (and to the frame of the car, I'm sure). Any suggestions? Also, neither of the rear windows work. The left rear window worked for a while, but no longer does. There are numerous wires protruding from the back of each switch. What wires do what? In other words, how can I tell if I need to replace the window motor(s) or something else? Thanks. |

Re: 1994 taurus HELP!!
As far as the windows go, remove the door panels, use a test light directly on the motor, turn the key on, and run the switch. If there is juice, then replace the motor. Or maybe whack it a few times and get some time out of it.
I never removed a fender, so can't help there.

Re: 1994 taurus HELP!!
At the power window switch, the yellow/red and red/yellow wires go to the power window motor. These are in a reverse polarity configuration. The power feed is from the red/light blue wire.
