wierd problem
ok i HAVE searched and i cant find what im looking for. I have a b18a1 in a 92 civic and when i turn it on it goes to about 2000 rpm. the idle will fluctuate and and it wont go past 3200 rpm. it's like a rev limiter at 3200. the check engine light is on but when i jump the paperclip/connector across the terminals nothing happens. we have tried to pull the alt fuse. battery and whatnot but have no clue.also i can downshift and make it go above 3200 and it will rev down.very confused. any help appreciated.

ok first what you need to do is post in the right forum... this isnt the honda forum.. 2nd. go to auto zone and get your ecu tested, or get a e check done on your car and that will show you the problem...
