Re: iwata airbrushes
Depends what you are after. The Revolution is a good no-nonsense, basic, value for money 'brush, the one I use 99% of the time. Next up are the Eclipse followed by the HP-C. Both better than the Revolution in small ways but also more expensive. Top of the heap is the Custom Micron range, they are supposed to be the ultimate but almost certainly overkill for the likes of us.
There is an Australian distributor in Sydney, a friend of mine bought a HP-C Plus there last year. Don't know any contact details sorry, perhaps a Google search might turn something up? |

Re: iwata airbrushes
Yup, Google turns up a few Australian online vendors. Prices are a rip-ff!
![]() I bought my Revolution and HP-C from Dixie Art in the States. Revolution was under US$60, with the favourable exchange rate at the moment that might be the way to go (taking shipping and import duties into account). |

Re: iwata airbrushes
I got a gravity feed/big cup HP-CS at the beginning of the year @ a 40% discount and love it.

Re: iwata airbrushes
Used to have a Paasche VL, recently bought a HP-CS under $100 from ebay. Revolutions are good bang for buck, even better than the VL's bang for buck.

Re: iwata airbrushes
I must concur with what everybody else says: The quality of the Iwata airbrushes is superior to even the most expensive models from Badger and Paasche. I have had a Paasche VL for years now, and my HP-BCS (Siphon-feed, comes with the bigger nozzle which is good for acrylics) is on a totally different level.
