This was not necessary. You should know better.

Ya, why bother having a seperate forum to keep the main one clean if you're just going to advertise your own stuff. Please lock this before I get really angry.

Re: check the Classified section, lots of sic stuff for cheap!

i was on this forum before stickies existed, before the sub-forums existed. i was on the sounding board of wether to erect the sub forums, and could have been a MOD on this forum. i know what is up.

i just put up a lot of stuff and i wanted you guy's to have first grab at it before it all goes up on EBAY. i'm sorry if i was directing attention over in that direction so that some 4g63 guy's might not miss a good deal on some great stuff.

i can excuse you all for your lame comments now. i understand it may be hard to comprehend the importance of peak/hold boost gauges and EGT's and the likes to some GS'rs, and as a result you may have misunderstood the reason for this post.

you see, in the begining there were those that were blown and those that were not. for the have not's there was a sense of need. a sense of wanting to be all that is DSM. and sometimes that boils over and becomes misdirected little stabs of those that are of the DSM. it is not the fault of the have not's. for they accompany all those who secretly pray to be worthy of the DSM [and fortunatley most, if not all have not's in here, are at least a few rungs higher than the honduhs and the squeegie tegs], and to have a need for things like EBC's and ported exhaust manifolds.

so it is not your fault you have acted in this manner, we of the DSM tribe understand.

you may want to go contribute to the forums on 2gnt.com, instead of post whoring in here.

because you should have known better.

Posts # 2-4 should have never been posted, you guys really should have treated an older member with a little more respect than a complete n00b would get. Although maybe a separate post was not *needed*, a simple, POLITE PM would have been much better understood.

The attitude of this forum has really gone downhill in the past few months.

I'll drink to that...

Everybody is getting too uptight with things around here and it gets old being the mod and seeing this everyday. Half the time I don't even respond to threads when they go downhill unless I see a reason to. Then I end up having to lock them anyways... Ok, I can understand you guys jumping a newb or something, but come on; BoostedSpyder has been around here almost as long as I have. Probably a lot longer than most of you guys have been here too... I know what he's talkin about with this forum... There was a time when there was no organization and things weren't so strict. Although some mods were stricter, the rules were not.

I saw this thread that he posted making note of the classified thread he posted and I thought, well thats a good idea to grab people attention. I went and checked out the thread in there too and had no problems. He is trying to give us the good deals first hand here. Now, if people wanna be ungrateful about members trying to help out other members before throwing things on ebay and getting what they're worth then maybe we should just do away with the classified section...

Come on guys... Ease the fuck up around here...

I've been here and seen the good times and I've seen the bad times... And I'd have to say that were are in some of the better times right now. Lets not ruin that with petty BS...

**EDIT**
Oh yeah, and I'm NOT gonna lock this...

Re: check the Classified section, lots of sic stuff for cheap!

My

Making a thread in the main forum to link to another thread in a subforum is retarded. I don't care who you are that should not happen.

If we are going to chastize noobs for doing this type of thing, why not the members who should know better? I'm not about to impose a double standard. We all know that if a newb were to do this, it would be locked and he would be warned not to do it again.

The comments about us N/A guys not being "true DSMers" is a load of shit and the fact that you think of us as second class citizens because we are not "blown" is hilarious. Way to act like one of the veteran members. You wouldn't hack it as a mod with your obvious biases.

As for letting us in on deals, he already did that by making the thread in the classifieds. I'm not against that at all and think it's awesome people do that to help others out, but at the same time people who would be interested in the items would already be watching the classifieds section.
