Re: turbo sh questions?

You wouldn't need to lower compression if you're gonna run low boost levels. It would probably be safe to do so, but even then, you don't want too low of compression, or else you'd lose power. I've heard the h22's are strong motors internally, so yeah.

Re: turbo sh questions?

I kind of got cut off from my reply. I apologize. Anyways, I thought turbo kits usually come with fpr's, and all that good stuff. I've read on turbo kits from Greddy and Turbokits.com, and most all of them say they are safe to run on stock engines. Of course having a manual is advised. :P But yeah, that's what I've heard. I guess 10psi is around the most a stock h22 can take. It seems that way for most motors. I'd love to boost my lude, but it's an automatic. That won't stop me. I have a t3 turbo right now. I bought it a couple years ago off ebay. I had a friend check it out and he said it was in pretty good condish. I could use that, hook up an intercooler, get everything else involved, and bam! I'd be running a few pounds of boost, shed some seconds off that 1/4 mile. :P Later mang!

Re: turbo sh questions?

thanks dude..... for the most part i think it would be safe on stock internals... just wanted to hear about it from other lude owners....as far as the fpr... i dont get one in my turbonetics kit.. just an electronic fuel / timing management system... so i'll see how that goes when i install it!!

No prob mang. Your motor should be fine, as long as you aren't running 15 pounds of boost, so yeah, good luck, tell us all how it went! Later!
