Mass Air Flow on 5.0 HO F-150
my 92 F-150 5.0 has 180,000 now i am looking at a rebuild. I want to put a cam with a 280 duration, but i am told i have to go to mass air flow for it to run right. $350 last one i looked at for the kit. Any info about this.

5.0 h. o. motor into f-150
I just put a 89 mustang 5.0 roller motor in my 85 f-150 and it runs great! you will have to use a roller motor distrubutor (it has a steel gear for the roller cam) I used my mustang headers exaust and mufflers. I had the muffler shop chop up my h pipe from the mustang to work on the truck and I love it now. I did not convert to mass air and it runs better than ever with no problems!
