2001 Maxima Leather Seats cracked

Hi all,

I am new as a member to the but have been reading for a while.

I had a question that I was hoping someone could help me with. I have a 2001 maxima, approx. 35000 mi. The leather of my drivers seat has cracked and torn. Is there a way to fix it? Is it under the warranty? Thanks

Your not going to find a warranty on your seats in a car that old. Your best option is to get it repaired properly. It may cost a little bit more but the outcome will last longer and look better.

They have cheap repair kits that you can buy all over the place, but unless you have the proper tools to use the kit it dosent work all that great. You can pick these kits up on ebay or at your local walmart.

If it was me I would look around your area for leather repair. But someone else may know better then me or know of a kit that works well.
