Re: flamethrower
I would point and laugh at somebody with a flamethrower on their exhaust unless it was a really nice show car.
However, it will not mess up your ECU in any way unless your car explodes into a ball of flames under the dash and in the engine bay.

Re: flamethrower
Are you kidding? That is a very bad idea, I would not do that. It wouldnt mess up your computer, but it could do a pretty good number on your muffler, rear bumper, and if you hook something up wrong you might end up the gooey center of a DSM smore.

Re: flamethrower
And aside from that I never really liked the idea of shooting flames near a gastank anyway

Re: flamethrower
I thought in some/all states having that on a street car was illegal.

Re: flamethrower
It is illegal to shoot the flames while on the street. Though if you are parked in a parking lot or at a show (away from people and property/cars) it isn't illegal... it's the same with blue (and red) neons.
I think the flames are cool, I just wouldn't ever do it to my car... lol I also think it's illegal to drive your car if it bursts into flames :P

Re: flamethrower
my engine caught on fire. twice.
and i could shoot flames out the back. you gotta have a pretty modded fuel system, but get up to high RPM/boost in 3rd and drop off the throttle and then blip it again. lots of fuel out the hot back = flames. 3-4 foot flames to be exact. wasn't the smartest thing to do, you know. |
